Park Street United Methodist Church

Park Street offers a number of varied musical opportunities for those who sing, play an instrument, or just want to clap along.  Our contemporary service welcomes any who want to join our praise band to sing or play an instrument.  We are building a repertoire of songs through rehearsals at 8am on Sundays. We are very informal and all are welcome, regardless of your skill level!  Just ask Pastor Hal!!!  All ages are welcome to participate, including children.

The traditional service at 11am has an excellent chancel choir led by our music director, Phillip Pees, and accompanied by Mrs. Mary Dellinger.  The choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:30 in the church education building.  They sing a variety of music including traditional, gospel, and contemporary arrangements.  The choir also assists in leading worship through musical responses and leading hymn singing. We are always appreciative of those who are capable and willing to sing solos or in duets, trios, etc.  We invite all youth and adults to love to sing choral music to give us a try.

The Church Handbell Choir is another opportunity to ring out the praises of God.  This group meets regularly during the school year and performs monthly, plus special times during the various special church holy days. 

Park Street United Methodist Church of Belmont has a very active children's music program including Kids' Club choirs for ages four through elementary school, handbell choirs for middle schoolers and free guitar lessons and piano lessons for children of active church members.  Handbell ringing is taught at all levels from age four through high school ages.
